Words of encouragement, when I was feeling about as low as I could go and wistfully posted a picture about a practice I wasn't sure was true, came in the form of an article about Kintsugi that a friend sent in response.

Kintsugi is a Japanese art that teaches that when things break, instead of throwing them out, we should try to repair them.  "This is the essence of resilience. Each of us should look for a way to cope with traumatic events in a positive way, learn from negative experiences, take the best from them and convince ourseves that exactly these experiences make each person unique, precious."
